Don’t dial 999 unless you have a genuine emergency

People are being urged not to dial 999 for an ambulance service to turn them at hospital’s A&E department unless they have a genuine medical emergency.

The request from the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals came as they experienced the high demand for their services.

A trust spokeswoman informed that a large number of patients have been admitted to hospitals over last week, which has led to shortage of beds across the hospitals.

The disease known as ‘sudden oak death’ has arrived at Britain from America, where it has eradicated the oak population.

The disease was first discovered in shrubs in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset five years ago after it was introduced in Britain by an infected plant from the United States.

The ‘gigantism gene’ in DNA was identified in 18 century man known as ‘Irish Giant’ who was almost eight feet tall.

The ‘Irish Giant’ was Charles Byrne born in Littlebridge, Northern Ireland, in 1761. 

After the death of Byrne, his skeleton remains at the Hunterian Museum at London headquarters of the Royal College of Surgeons.

In a move by efficient NHS that has been labeled as ‘cheapskate’ went through furious controversies, a senior Health Service official has suggested saving money by sending bandages of administration work to Delhi, Bombay and other cities.

Driver and Vehicle Agency's 'prompted choice' system

The Government has established a Driver and Vehicle Agency's 'prompted choice' system under which the applicants will either have to sign up the Organ Donor Register or to select an option which sates that they do not wish to answer the question.

The system allows the applicants to skip the question.

It is hoped that a higher number of people will sign up the Organ Donor Register.
