As per the recent statement released by the Business Development manager of the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAKFTZ), Ms. A Niloofar, good chances exist for the Pakistanis for business as well as investments at the RAKFTZ.

Moreover, talking to reporters, she said, “We are here to promote RAKFTZ to the Pakistanis business community as good opportunities exist for them.”

She also mentioned close relations and business ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In addition to this, it was said that RAKFTZ, one of the fastest developing free zones in the area, is well situated and around 45 minutes drive from Dubai.

Further, Niloofar said, “I was planning to introduce to Pakistani businessmen the RAKFTZ as to how they can expand their business through RAKFTZ in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market.”

According to her, RAKFTZ can be a hub in this direction to help reach the promising markets.

She said, “At RAKFTZ we are providing business license activity for the companies, traders, consultants as well as the manufacturers.”

Niloofar also added that since 2006 some 200 Pakistani firms have got registered with the RAKFTZ and nicely operating their businesses.
