The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) have recently announced that it would call a convention of traders to develop a set of practicable proposals with the intention that the business activity could get a jumpstart.
The above statement was given by the LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik during meeting with President All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran Haji Maqsood Butt on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, both the sides decided to take up the issues being faced by the trading industries with the related government departments without any further delay as the private sector for being the engine of development could bring Pakistan out of economic disaster offered the government expedites the process of consultation with the real stake holders.
Mr. Malik said, “I was well aware of the fact the law and order situation and traffic related issues were hampering the business activities.”
According to him, the Lahore Chamber would also plan a joint meeting of market leaders as well as the police authorities so that the policy could be evolved for having a foolproof security system in all the local markets.
Talking about traffic problems, the LCCI President told media that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry was in deal with the Punjab government for early set-up of well equipped as well as spacious parking plazas.
