4th SME Conference Motivates Pakistan

In a statement released by the CEO SME BSF at the 4th SME Conference, “SME empowerment, Structural reforms, good-governance and HR training can help reinvigorate the national economy and the SME sector.”

The CEO further said that a cluster-financing model will soon be launched with more concentration on the agricultural sector and the requirements of the country’s society.

Meanwhile, the other famous speakers present in the meeting were Javed Iqbal-Project Manager IFC/ World Bank, Waqar Ahmed-SME Head of Soneri Bank, Shehzad Arif-SME Head of Standard Chartered Bank, Zubair Motiwala-Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh, Ali Rahim-President Income Tax Bar Association, Mohsin Mushtaq Chandna-Public Policy Expert, Ms. Shireen Naqvi-CEO School of Leadership, Ashraf Kapadia-MD Systems Ltd, Ms. Faiza Nasir-Senior Manager PICG.

The other partners as well as participates comprised State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan, Etihad Airways, UNICEF, Ministry of Agriculture Sindh and Four Corners Group.

The fourth Pakistan SME Conference 2010 staged by SHAMROCK Conferences International took place on October 2nd of this year at the Sheraton in Karachi.

The conference group backed up the idea of taking social transformation to allow self-reliance in rehabilitation as well as redeveloping of the country affected by flood.
